Dr. Eugene DellaMaggiore
Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Eugene DellaMaggiore is a native to San Jose area. After graduating from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1992, Dr. DellaMaggiore completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego in 2000. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. DellaMaggiore specializes in PRP platelet therapy for accelerated healing of injuries using your body’s own regenerative abilities.
Dr. DellaMaggiore has won numerous awards including a Leadership Award during Officer Indoctrination Training, a Merck Book Award from the UCLA School of Medicine, a Navy Achievement Medal, and four Navy Commendation Medals.
Dr. DellaMaggiore is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, the California Orthopaedic Association, the Santa Clara County Medical Association, the Santa Clara Valley Orthopedic Club, and the Western Orthopedic Association, as well as the author of numerous articles on the topic of orthopedic medicine.
During his studies, Dr. DellaMaggiore served as his sophomore class president and senior class activities chairperson at the UCLA School of Medicine, participated in the 1995 Military World Games as a member of the United States Physician Cycling Team, was a member of the All-Navy Triathlon Team in 2002. He has participated in the Big Brother, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Peninsula, in Belmont California from 1987 to the present day.
